Military training areas were based in the period 1946-1951 in which economic activities were carried out by VLM SR. The post-war period was characterized by the lack of mechanisms, professional staff and workers. Education and forest protection in time of war have been largely neglected, which predetermined the onset of windy and crustacean calamities.

In the sixties and seventies, the post-war situation began to improve. There has been a general stage of development, when was the basic infrastructure of business formed and subsequently continued to expand. New scientific – technical knowledge has been implemented into the practise, which resulted in the complete mechanization of logging and some other activities of associated production.
