The mission of Forest Management (FM) is to monitor the state of the forest, its production and felling potential, natural, social, technical, ecological and economic conditions of farming, and to determine the objectives of management, to monitor and evaluate forest development, to plan its management in order to maintain sustainable fulfilment of all required functions and ensure the compliance of public interests and the interests of forest owners.

The result of FM activities are forest management plans (FMP), comprehensive forest management plans and other works that provide the basis for professional, systematic and purposeful management of forests, forest management and forest policy implementation.

We are experienced in designing forest management plans (i.e.: forest caretaking programmes) and other projects in all forest types found in Slovakia. Our main objective is todesign the forest management plans for internal use and in state-owned and non-state owned forests.

In addition, we provide other tailor-made planning-and-maintenance related services for our clients.

The Company, as well as every person in charge of FM, are holders of Certificate of Technical Competence in designing forest management plans in accordance with the Act no. 326/2005 Coll. On the Forests.

The company was established to saturate the needs for the efficient and ecological forest and agricultural land management on the military training areas in Slovakia. The state owned enterprise consists of Directorate General and three branch offices in Malacky, Kežmarok and Kamenica nad Cirochou.
