Services for Slovak Armed Forces
Military Forests, as a purpose-built enterprise by the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic, ensures the implementation of forestry and technical measures for the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic, the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, the Lešt Training Center, the Military History Institute and the Military Research and Technical Institute.
The performance of activities for the army consists of the removal of dangerous trees and trees threatening state property (buildings, fencing, etc.), removal of invasive species, removal of trees and bushes interfering with tracks, fencing, roads and infrastructure of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, MoD land used for training and operation of the Armed Forces of the Slovak Republic, police, fire and rescue services of the Slovak Republic.
MFE SR, SOE, perform these activities for the purpose of maintaining the land under the administration of the Ministry of Defense of the Slovak Republic and other administrators for the purpose of their use - it is the maintenance of training facilities, such as shooting ranges, tank tracks, various training grounds, barracks, etc..

The company was established to saturate the needs for the efficient and ecological forest and agricultural land management on the military training areas in Slovakia. The state owned enterprise consists of Directorate General and three branch offices in Malacky, Kežmarok and Kamenica nad Cirochou.
